He focuses on the patient art of the hunt, sharing his extensive knowledge to help anglers appreciate the subtle beauty of the Fort Myers ecosystem. By prioritizing education and credibility, he ensures that every person on his boat leaves with a better understanding of the local environment and the techniques required to successfuly fish it.
A master of diverse angling styles, Captain Justin tailors each trip to the specific conditions of the day and the goals of his guests. Whether he is demonstrating the finesse of light tackle, the precision of fly fishing, or the technical aspects of popping, his expertise is evident in every move. He is dedicated to sustainable practices, emphasizing the importance of conservation to ensure these pristine grounds remain productive for future generations. Guests can rely on his professional demeanor and friendly guidance to provide a relaxed yet highly informative environment.
The 25’ C-Hawk
The foundation of these trips is a recently acquired 25-foot C-Hawk flats boat, a vessel specifically chosen for its stability and performance in shallow-water environments. Powered by a reliable 300 HP Mercury engine, the boat allows for efficient travel between various backwater spots, maximizing the time spent with lines in the water. The layout is thoughtfully designed to provide ample room for up to three guests to fish comfortably at the same time. Featuring a dedicated live well and an onboard icebox to maintain the quality of the day’s catch, the boat is fully equipped to handle the logistical needs of a productive day in the Florida sun.
